Intresting circles in the cockpit, what is happening here? It was already in place when spawning into the aircraft, cold and dark.
That I think is a bug since the sim was released. If you are on PC, there is a mod on flightsim.to that reduces the issue. There is also another issue regarding cold and dark status that has been there since the last beta build of SU1. We’re in 3 or 4 update in the beta and the issue still persists, which is frustrating because it should have never been broken in the first place.

There are only two videos of any reasonable length or detail on the A400M operation that I’ve found so far.
What I’m missing are the full nuances of operating the FMS. I understand there’s a lot of similarities in the FMS to other Airbus products. Can someone who’s proficient in both types suggest videos to familiarize with the latter, that can apply back to the A400? Much appreciated.

I wonder if the cold and dark start bug will be fixed in Sim Update 2. We are in version 1.4.18 and the bug is still present. Load into the plane and all 3 batteries are still on. Or do we wait until Sim Update 3, which since the bug has been around since Sim Update 1, has not yet been resolved.
I am encountering the issue of not being able to taxi with my parking brakes and chocks removed. Is there anything I am missing?

Looks like the A400 Cold & Dark state has been fixed. Finally is all I can say.
Yes, but unfortunately you cant fly because with cold & dark start the chocks can be visibly removed but the airplane still cant move.
Clicking on the EFB “Chocks” button did not work anymore?
They have removed the Chocks button from the EFB

Do you mind me asking what the ambient temperature is in your scenario and whether it is below 0 degrees C? This may seem a simple step, but I do ask just to double check, have you also ensured your props are out of the Feather gate on the pedestal?
I know a little about how to operate this Airplane so yes the props were out of feather and the temps were at +10°C.
I mean, its not like i m the only one with the problem, as the linked topic above shows.
The Airplane is “securely bolted to the ground” 
and does not move.
This is the same error that this Airplane already had at the msfs24 release, where it was stuck although you had clicked away the chocks on the outside, but you could work around it by removing the chocks with the button in the EFB directly after boarding, stupid only that the button was removed from the EFB with the last Update.

Would you be able to test and see whether you have the tiller linked to rudder in the A400M EFB, or the Autotiller Disconnect ON?

So far i have tested it with the following settings
Auto Tiller Disconnect: Yes
Rudder Controls Tiller: Yes
i have now tested it again with
Auto Tiller Disconnect: No
Rudder Controls Tiller: No
Same result, the airplane does not move when you give thrust you can see how the front landing gear compresses due to the thrust but it cannot roll.

This is a break problem, if you check the wheel page it is obvious that the break pressure is at full all the time when starting from cold and dark.
A400m freezes during flight preparation, during flight … not poissible to use it in MSFS2024. Inbuilds programing on it is worth nothing, iof they publish it that buggy… unusable. What a fail.
