Maybe you’re right, we don’t know for sure. But looking at the continuosly updated c-17 or the albatross it feels that developer’s will to deliver is the key. It’s a sad state because the decision to outsource the default planes was the best decision that could be made at the moment. From the future we see the state of the matter - most of the default planes suffer from buggines and/or being half finished by their devs.
The more talent you bring into development, the better the outcome…if you have the available time to line everything up and deliver.
HPG’s helis are the best in MSFS.

True. If you want a computer to fly your helicopter. Which is not to say it’s not realistic, just utterly boring IMO.
If you want to actually have direct control over the behaviour try a Taog heli (preferably one of his two recent releases). Barring a few minor sim-related limitations I reckon the 500C isn’t very far off the best XP has to offer. And that’s saying something.
Of course opinions are like, well, you know what. We all have 'em. But there are folks here clutching game controller broadcasting the brilliance of the 407. If you know anything about actual helicopter flight (or want to know) then seriously consider the Taog 500C or Huey (I have zero affiliation with the dev).

Sorry but what? The C17 has been pending an update for several months, it still has the invisible pin you need to remember to remove or the gear won’t retract in flight.
Back to topic I think Microsoft should have never commissioned the H225 to HPG group. They were really amazing devs in the days of the H145, then the Supertanker debacle came and they were never the same. The H225 is dumbed down on purpose when it could have been the best default Heli in the sim and they have really not updated or improved anything in the last months, not only for the 225 but also for their payware fleet.

Totally agree with you, this heli was one of the reasons I purchased MSFS instead of keeping game pass going, totally ■■■■■■ about it to be honest, payware that I can even use, I best no go off topic with the rest of the payware that’s unusable!

They don’t even work on Xbox. They’re broken. And HPG aren’t fixing it, from the sounds of things, or at least, are taking a huge amount of time to sort the issues out. I paid for the expanded version of the sim just for this aircraft, and have been sorely let down… I’ll never purchase a Hype helicopter again.
Thank goodness we have a decent developer, Taog’s Hangar, that consistently brings out great helicopters in both sims. Their Hughes 500 is sublime.

What about the H225 in SU3?, the first reason that I am waiting this release. Second unencrypted aircraft for modders, but that it isn´t clearly in SU3 or maybe it is possible but like a undiscovered mystery reading some people haha

Apparently the H225 update that the Dev delivered to Asobo has not made it into SU3. Hope we get some info on what happened and what we can expect in the future.

Is HPG fault, yes HPG delivers a Update but if update cause a issue, the update is block (like C17 from Miltech, Xbox Version cause crash). Microsoft test a update, but if found a issue HPG need fix .. Jorg Cleary state than HPG have big communication issue with MS QA team

Not a surprise. I do not expect anything from HPG at the moment. If you look at the main developer, he is inactive for a certain period of time (months) in their discord and other forums. He has no activity anymore in the MSFS development forum. I think that HPG was founded mainly around this developer, and now their are in big trouble because they have lost him, temporary or definitely as a key resource. I do not speculate here why this developer is inactive but my feeling is that he is not part of the game at the moment. Of course, this is only a pure subjective feeling, I could be wrong, but this is my personal feeling.

Yeah i wasn’t surprised either. I saw him commenting on Reddit on a random subreddit where i “confronted” him and he said they were actually having a big update for the live build of SU3 but to nobodys surprise that was complete bs once again.
At this point, throw money at Miltech/Blackbird and let them do it.

I cant even get it to take off in basic FSX like fashion using a logitec 3d extreme stick.
What a pity, so the money is not the problem told by them, maybe sadly internal personal problems-differences, or health?, hope they solve it.

Does anyone know if there is a changelog for the update sent to MSFS 2024, or if HPG has published it? No beta tester commented on the H225 update during the SU3 testing period. If MS received the H225 update and didn’t deliver it, perhaps they’ll explain why they didn’t release the update for SU3.
According to their discord, “an update was provided to MS a while ago”, but there’s been nothing from either HPG or Asobo/MS about it.
Given that the C-17 update for SU3 also didn’t happen, I guess we just need to wait for SU4, since Asobo seems to hate releasing aircraft updates outside of those.

They shared a changelog on their discord after sending the update about a month ago. You’re right about Asobo not including it so now we can only hope for them to comment on the matter.

This shambles and lack of updates needs to be properly addressed, even from the day Jorg said HPG were hard to connect with which HPG immediately disagreed with to now 4-5 months later where HPG put out a changelog on there discord and it’s simple not included in SU3, someone knows why and doesn’t care or respect customers enough to update customers

I know this is so frustrating, everyone quick to acknowledge stuff like live traffic in the air or tell you off for being off topic but totally ignore the rightful frustrated questions regarding the massive flaws, some easily fixable, on aircraft which people have paid extra to have.
Really disappointing and disrespectful
