I only wish to know one thing.
In VFR GA, when one approaches an airfield that needs to be passed en-route, does the airfield offer ‘Transit zone’ in the list of options?
It is customery courtesy to inform the airfield ATC or AFIS one’s intentions.
It is bad form to just fly past or over without speaking.
The airfield may have traffic departing or arriving, out of sight.
Also, while in the Control Zone of a larger airport, Approach might issue a new Squawk.
What is your point? Are you asking about procedures or implementation. If the latter, then no.
