Did they remove the engines indicators after the SU2?

where is the TRANSPONDER? i not find the transponder where is the ENJINE INFORMATION MONITORING? the airplane is incomplete.

It never got them from the start in MSFS2024

I spent 1 hour trying to find the engine information on the mfds just to end up in this thread finding out that you guys weren’t bothered to finish the plane lol, lazy…

how do you see the engine parameters that isnt showing on mine

They did add engine parameters at some point but those were some kind of piston parameters, guess they dissappeared after last SU. This plane has always been a lemon, should have Rockwell Collins Pro-line Fusion or Pro-line 21, but instead has a Garmin .

Garmin itself is not that bad, however they should have chosen the G1000 NXi instead of the G3000 as it’s possible to retrofit these:

However as I mentioned above the King Air 350i seems in general unfinished and a bit odd due to that strange sensor on it’s nose. Not sure what exactly are the plans for it but clearly something is pretty WIP.

I haven’t tried the plane in 2024 yet, I’ve only used the 2020 one.

If the 350 KA has been updated only with the Working Title G3X Touch and no other GNS/GTN, then it can’t load procedures.

The G3X Touch is a VFR only FMS. it only can load point to point plans, no IFR legs or procedures. It needs to be integrated with a GNS or GTN to do so.

Edited: finally loaded up the King Air - it still appears to be a VFR / Point-to-Point only FMS. The addition I haven’t seen before is when I sent an IFR plan to the plane, it did pick up the Final Approach Fix for the Destination Runway. So that at least gives you a waypoint to be at for a visual approach.

I asked one of our owner/operators today what that tube is on the nose, and he confirms it’s an EVS camera, apparently been an option since 2010.

I don’t think it’s modeled in the plane though.

pretty interesting and strange at the same time

The one modeled might resemble an Max-Viz EVS-1500 as it’s a single tube, however I can only find a low res picture of it mounted to a King Air.

This camera however was in first place certified to be used with the PL-21 as per this old post:

No word however about the PL-Fusion, so I wonder if the plan was to make the 350i also use the PL-21 but they were not yet done modeling a new cockpit

They had to ask me, and i would do it for free. Flying this bird since FSX and later on Studie level KA350’s with pleassure. It’s heart broken this airplane dont receive any love from there creators.

Hope one day they will …

how do i install the old version of the king air 350 Asobo from 2020 to 2024? this is a real piece of ■■■■ you can’t see the lights it has no indications on the engines and it lacks the transponder.

Kingair per default from the factory has Proline21 avionic, not garmin. Sorry.
Here is a mod
https://de.flightsim.to/file/74962/king-air-350-pro-line-21-mod

That Mod is only for 2020 FYI.

The newer version of 350i and now the 360i had the Proline Fusion instead of the Pronline 21, which the screen in the stock aircraft should supposed to be, but evidently, it’s not the case
