I’m Flying with all assists on, so take that as it may.
The H225 is actually very good. It will actually practically maintain altitude for you and require just tapping up and down on longitudinal trim to maintain it. Highly recommend.
The G2 is fun, manueverable and can be trimmed perfectly using longitudinal and latitude trims.
Chinook is ok. Like a big G2. Flies ok. Can be trimmed and usable.
Westland is ok. Pretty complicated looking. Only flew it once or twice. Seems ok.
The 47J Ranger looks alright, but the flight model is nutty. Moving the cyclic around causes huge swings of the torque meter. Only barely controllable.
407, I gave up trying to start it.
Haven’t tried the skycrane yet or the Robinson.
The poster child, the H125, it is flyable. It is controlable. It is not comfortable. I don’t care what the excuse is, expecting us to sit there holding a joystick forward for 1-2 hours for some of those passenger flights is a no go. You can fly it around for 10 or 15 minutes no problem but not hours, not without trim.
