is this on the SU1 beta per chance?
It is, although it happened prior to the beta annoyingly
Right, because I just found a bug where using a certain pause type leads to freezes in things in the cockpit of many aircraft including the 737. Just wondering if the mission is enabling that same pause. A work around is currently done by hitting ESC to pause the flight in a good way then ESC again to resume. Worth a try. It unlocks the frozen pause.
I watch this streamer Jonathan Beckett, he gave alot of tips, tricks and workaround which has helped me enough to learn how to fly it as it is now.
Bought it fpr my airliner company and mission payouta are reeeeeeeally nice.
Im starting to love flying this plane aswell and cant wait for the update and marketplace to release.
I think I have finally found a workaround for the âRespect the condition of the aircraftâ
Since I started flying the 737 in career I was always getting 0% on respect the aircraft, I noticed a streamer actually got a percentage so I tried lots of things.
At the start of the mission if you enter the aircraft (Shift C I think) from there you can skip to taxi.
Since I started doing that I would always get an accurate percentage at the end of the mission on respect the condition.
Uhm i get between 85-95% on respect the aircraft every time, i dont use simrate in this aircraft as its bugged, i only use v-speed when decending and keep it at 2000ft/min airspeed is set to 240 until under 10000 feet then decrees speed gradually all the way to landing im really careful with the flaps and dont set another setting before 5 knots under top airspeed for that flap setting.
Dont overuse the airbreaks as this stresses the airframe a lot. Rather draw youâre decent out than risk getting dinged for tp high airspeeds ands such.
And NEVER use decend now in fmc before they fixed that bug.
That works for me and i get A or S rating on every mission in the career mode airliner, and yes i grinded it hard and bought the 737 MAX 8.
mission payout is between 15-25 million every time and i only fly the longer flights.
Hope these tips will help you out.
This ties in with the not great VNAV that it currently has. If you descend ahead of TOD, the aircraft doesnât start off at -1000ft/min until the path catches up, it can Iâve found immediately plunges to descent rates of -4000 to -5000ft/min right until I hit the target alt. That is a bug. So using V/S at -2000ft/min will certainly give you a better controlled descent and less stress on the airframe.
I canât get it to turn on the taxiway
This was the aircraft I was most looking forward to in MSFS2024 but theres still no Simbrief airframe, which I suspect one of the team will create under a pseudonym one itâs in a more solid state. Sigh*
A Simbrief profile for the 737-800 Max is available here: Simbrief profile 737-800 Max if thatâs what you need.
Iâm struggling to import a Simbrief or Navigraph flight plan into this aircraft via the EFB. I have the Navigraph addon installed in the EFB and can see my Simbrief derived flight plan is visible there but it wonât then import into the FMC. Does anyone have any pointers to help. Thanks.
Link doesnât do anything?
Try it now!
Thats for the IFly 738M and says it doesnt work with MSFS2024.
Hereâs what I do-
On world map select your departure runway and gate.
Launch the flight.
In the EFB go to the Simbrief plugin, set up your flightplan then, âGenerateâ the Simbrief flightplan in the Simbrief EFB plugin, then âImportâ the flightplan from the same Simbrief interface.
This will cause the FMC âEXEâ button to illuminate, so press EXE to accept the flightplan into the FMC. Note: You should do this before doing/modifying anything else in the FMC.
You can then set up POS INIT and then DEP/ARR pages to add departure runway, sid, star and arrival runway if required.
After that then fill out PERF INIT pages etc.
I also use the same EFB Simbrief pluginâs PERF tab to calculate take off speeds and engine derate.
Thank you BragRaindrop. Iâll give this a try. I just wish intergation with Simbrief worked as seemlessly for this a/c as it does for the Inibuilds A320.
- Yes, itâs a Simbrief profile for the iFly 737-800 Max and you can use it to create a plan in Simbrief that works fine in MSFS 2024. I suggest you give it a try and see if it meets your needs.
- Flightsim.to indicates it works for 2020 but doesnât list 2024. Iâm sure the web page was done before MSFS 2024 existed and it hasnât been updated yet (or maybe the IFly version is not available in 2024 yet?). AFAIK, a Simbrief profile that works for a 2020 aircraft will work for the same aircraft in 2024.
- It might be somewhat different than a profile created specifically for the Asobo version, but it should be at least in the ballpark and hopefully will not make a significant difference when using a plan created with it for the Asobo version. You can always use it as a good starting point and edit it if you find parameters donât match well enough, at least while waiting for a better profile. (Have you seen this post?).
I have two here, built specifically for this airframe:
EFB variant (Loading through EFB)
MCDU variant (Loading through MCDU)
hi, what are the parameters to set saitek pro flight yoke with the asobo 737 max?
Hi, can someone direct me for this.
How I can set the transponder? When I try, no reaction of the buttons, and I canât set the transponder code.
