[MSFS2024] Boeing 737 Max 8

PITCH mode is when AP uses nose pitch for control instead of VS or LVL Change.

You can do this in the Grmin Glass Cocpit if you don’t understand what I mean

  • Turn AP. PIT in PFD is default mode.
  • PIT mode is on when VS, LCH an ALT HLD is off.
  • PIT mode uses VS wheel to set nose pitch instead of FPM.

737 should have a pitch mode, nd entering PITCH mode on the 737 is identical to how you would do it with the G1000 ( just exit all other vertical modes ).

Basically - PITCH MODE is completly missing from the 737’s AP.

I’d suggest 240/12000 just to avoid large pressure differences triggering 10000 foot violations. I’ve been dinged at indicated 11000+ for the 10k violation with altimeters in the high 30.xx inch range. They’re not computing pressure altitude correctly for the transition or something.

Well No!

737 has only VNAV, VS and FLCH.

Most Common VNAV is used for Climb, Cruise and Descend and it works pretty good in the Basics. There are modes like VNAV Path, VNAV Alt etc. But I didn’t had an eye on it, if it does things right. I could complete Flights with VNAV without any troubles yet. But you have to fill in all Infos to the FMC.

VS is only Vertical Speed Up or Down with 100 FT Steps. Which also works good.

FLCH is also a way to Climb or Descend the 737, which will try to use the max Climb/Descend Rate while holding the Speed Selected in MCP.

There is No System that you describe/named in the 737.

Asobo, can you please unmirror the copilot PFD? Just have to cut the UV’s and shift them to opposite sides.
