What was worse was a rushed descent and botched landing approach in the 35A LearJet last week in 2020. Was carrying too much energy on descent and disengaged the Y/D too soon. The dutch roll that resulted was something I had not been treated to before LOL. IRL one would have abandoned that landing attempt and tried again after stabilizing the aircraft. For whatever impatient reason (was done with the sim for the day or whatever) I pressed on to see if I could get it on the ground. Wound up along side the runway albeit wings level but it would have resulted in a broken airplane IRL. That’s how real world pilots make history, one bad decision after another goes unrecognized until it is too late, or they just give in to the urge to press on.
