Free flight issue(s) - I’m having engine malfunctions on EVERY free flight now. I went into debug mode and there is a wear/tear tool where you can see each item on the aircraft in real time showing how it’s degrading (there’s a LOT being tracked). In my case my Turbine Engine was degrading at nearly .5%/second - see the attached image. I can reset the % of health value but it keeps going down…and I don’t know how to “fix” the engine in Free Flight mode. I can’t find any parameter in the SimObjects folder even in the VFS that is encrypted…I can’t see the aircraft.cfg file because it disappears (goes hidden) too quickly from the VFS…even with show hidden turned on. Anyone have any ideas? I guess I should delete the aircraft from the streamed data to get it reset (redownloaded). Has anyone else seen anything like this in Free Flight?
And to answer some questions before they are asked.
- This happens on EVERY Free Flight now…multple liveries tried - no impact.
- I fly using normal procedures keeping engines in the green and never got a warning until yesterday.
- I’ve been flying this aircraft since launch…just started with this problem yesterday.
- No mods added that would impact aircraft (BATC, FSUIPC, Navigraph and an airport or two but i’m not at those airports)
