A post was split to a new topic: Cessna 404 Titan: Buckles Visible in Exterior View
Yes, this aircraft is severely underpowered and at regular lower altitudes is supposed to climb around 1,500 to 1,900 ft/min⦠I get in the 650 to 1000 ft/min MAX!!! MSFS DEVās - You seem to have worked on the critical altitude, but the actual thrust, power, etc., of the aircraft is way to weak; perhaps if MSFS 2024 would just unlock all the engine.cfg files, we could at least adjust for a temp fix, as this aircraft is basically not so fun to fly at this point⦠First, was the critical altitude, and MP not maintaining at all; and now the aircraft is gutless⦠COME ON MSFS - just unlock the cfg files and let us fix the aircraft, because half the aircraft still have power and engine issues!!!
So much YES to this
Engines.cfg together with other config files and interior.xml.
However, I would not hold my breath too much for it since the community is requesting to decrypt the files already pretty much from August 2020
THANKS FOR SHARING THIS!!!
YEAH, I KNOW, but I have not complained yet, I waited to the 5-6 months for the first big update in the hopes that most would be fixed, but so many potentially simple things could be remedied⦠Grrrr⦠Oh Well, maybe they will come to their sensesā¦
Please dim the background lighting on the gps. Unusable at night
The 404 has a nice list of fixes in SU2. But the GNS530 overexposure at night is still not fixed.
How come?
This isnāt a Cessna 404 specific issue.
Ok, thanks for clarifying.
Is there any workaround for that?
Not that Iām aware of.
No mention about improvements to the turbo charger modeling. This is very disappointing.
It certainly happens on other planes, but not ALL other planes. The Cessna 172, for example, has GNS 430/530 systems that are perfectly reasonably exposed.
This makes me think that the issue is in fact plane specific, and every developer who works on a plane that has a GNS 430/530 needs to figure out whatās causing this and fix it. Iām guessing that whatever settings carried over from FS2020 donāt work right on 2024 without changes.
Is this career mode?
Did it happen mid flight?
Any mods installed?
No it was free Flight. But now i got it to work. Somehow the Avionics switch didnt turned on⦠had to turn it off and on during flight and they displays worke now. Strange that was definitely not there before SU2.
Created a bug report for the supercharger issue.
Ive noticed that:
-
The HSI doesnāt slave to the GPS
-
The HSI also has a massive precesse in magnetic course after a couple hours of flying, sometimes up to 20 degrees from the compass.
I wish this can get career mode support
