My discoveries on a short flight:
“Send to Avionics” from EFB INOP
Same MFD problems as many other G1000 aircraft (Aircraft displays as gray circle, HDG UP mode INOP)
“TAWS SYSTEM TEST OK” when entering cold and dark
ENG EXCEED L/R alert displayed during startup, between approx. 50-60% NG. Appears to be caused by low prop RPM. (Prop control is full forward)
MASTER WARNING RESET / MASTER CAUTION reset only controls the light on the button itself, does not stop the beeping or flashing alert on the PFD
CAS messages are displayed twice
CAS messages are displayed twice
PFD “Tmr/Ref” and “Nearest” softkeys do nothing or cause a rectangle on the display to rapidly appear and disappear.
Engine fire extinguisher buttons will fire if the mouse is scrolled while the cursor is over them. Better hope there’s no turbulence when you’re zooming or adjusting the autopilot.
