Nope, seeing plenty for the 408 in Cargo Transport - Medium here. If you mean specifically your owned 408 for your Cargo company, sometimes when they release updates to an aircraft, something with the versioning breaks the connection between the old version you owned and the new version in the sim. I believe that’s happened before with the PC-12, and probably others.
Nope, in my game there is no option to buy a 408 at all, not in any class of company. I don’t know why but yeah, it is in the game and I can fly it freeroam but buying it in career mode is no longer an option. And my original one I sold over a year ago. I just looked and the saab is also not available for cargo use in career mode.
The Saab was intentionally removed from Cargo but the SkyCourier is fine on my end. Double check in your My Library that the 2020 version didn’t get somehow enabled instead of the 2024 version. That would cause it to disappear from your Career mode.
Use the Beta range of the throttle to taxi it. Makes it a lot more controllable.
It is available for me, and it has been available only for cargo. Try disabling and re-enabling/installing it. I have had planes not showing up after patches and updates.
I struggled with the landing 408 recently until I went back read the IRL comments on this thread and started getting ahead of the aircraft. 120kts, flaps 2, 1500rpm and start planning early. She’ll lose speed on the descent in the lower throttle ranges so plan for it. It’s very easy to get to much energy before descent, enter fast, flare late, land long. Best of luck.
Apparently the 408 is very similar in specs to the dc3 it’s just crazy
The 408 in the SU7 beta is back to the previous version? Where the left NG is mirrored on the right; where the light switches work in the reverse, when you’re scrolling on them with the mouse; where the fuel level is showing… something…
Anyone else see this?
No, no, no, no.
I am not a beta tester. Has it been reported already? please tell me yes, please!!!
Why is that crazy? There’s a reason you need to be type rated to fly high performance aircraft. They kill people who aren’t way ahead of the aircraft. This isn’t a C-172.

The Cessna 408 SkyCourier is an excellent aircraft—kudos to the developer!
I fly it in career mode for my own cargo company, earning between 600,000 and 900,000 per flight, depending on the distance. A major plus is its fuel efficiency; it is very economical, stable, and handles beautifully on autopilot.
Cessna 408 SkyCourier
I also fly the Pilatus PC-24, so I have something to compare it with.
Let me give you another example of just how much more revenue this aircraft generates compared to others in its class.
I encountered severe weather—thunderstorms and strong winds—and incurred a penalty for a rapid descent. Yet, those very conditions yielded significantly higher profits and more experience.
I don’t understand why everyone criticizes it.
If you’re having trouble with the controls, you just need to create a fresh, clean control profile, and everything will work perfectly. ![]()
So far, I am quite liking it. But the sounds seem to be rather underwhelming… Do others agree?
My Carrer mode fleet was this plus the NextGen e110 freighter, and a passenger Saab 340B, and vip do228 and it was the most fun I’ve had (you don’t need a 737 or 747 to have fun in career mode
