and now…for 1 million dollar…here’s your last question:
How much fuel do you have on board?
A. 4182 LBS (according to the EFB)(load in aircraft successful).
B. 4500 LBS (according to the MFD).
C. 4024 LBS (according to the FOB ON SYNC on GTC).
D. There’s no FUEL because it’s an electric aircraft .
I discovered that the tab causing a load failure on the EFB loading page is the cargo tab; if I leave the cargo at zero, the load will always be successful. However, what I can’t manage to do is load of the passengers weight (when I choose the passenger’s seat, I enter the passenger’s weight. The passenger will be counted, but his weight is not saved properly). In the end, it always assigns a random weight on its own.
I have a weird bug that I’m not hearing anyone else comment on.
I only have this with the Longitude, no other aircraft EVER in MSFS 2020 or 2024 (I also had this very same bug in 2020, so was interested to see if it was in 2024 and it is)
The nose wheel steering does not work unless the aircraft is moving across the ground at a certain speed. So basically it means that I can’t turn the aircraft until I’m doing about 15knots taxi speed!! Makes for horrible taxi control as you can imagine. Anyone know what is going on?
Its most likely not a bug and just something i’m doing wrong
Large turning radius is a sim issue. I also found it with the Cessna Caravan 208 and the Cessna Titan (so far)(. On some aircraft you can use L or R toe brakes (HW or button mapped) to help with this but this needs to be fixed properly by Asobo…
For me its not necessarily an issue of the turning circle. Its an issue of the nose wheel not moving AT ALL, until a certain speed, and then all of a sudden I have full turning authority from the nose wheel, and then as soon as I slow down below that magical speed barrier, immediately the nose-wheel locks and it’s like It’s cemented straight and won’t turn at all.
Another great feature of this aircraft is its handling; when flown manually, it is very docile and responsive. Regarding the landing configuration, the method below practically solves the issue of auto-tuning.
However, during cruising, it often tends to slightly overspeed, and the speed tape turns red; I have to switch to manual and set it to Mach 8.3. Does this happen to you too?
I don’t know how that would be, because absolutely no other aircraft in msfs 2020 or 2024 does this to me, its ONLY this aircraft. Which kinda ruins the whole aircraft for me, which is annoying because theres currently no other biz jet with trans atlantic range in msfs
i did a try yesteday, nose wheel steers normally to me; so please check controls:
I dunno what peripherals you have, just be sure to have one axis for nose wheel steering (without extra actions assigned) and another one for rudder pedals;
So what am I doing wrong with the Longitude? I accelerate but the speed strip stays at —. I have to rely on the ground speed/IAS display on the bottom left.
Also, I know there’s a moving map in the EFB, but is there a way to have it on screen like in FS2020? Thanks.
I have loved this plane from the moment I hopped in the cockpit on MSFS 2020. My only complaint is that more of the systems are not operable. While they did add more functionality in 2024, I still cannot use the HUD. If I had to pick one thing that I wanted most in 2024 for the Longitude, it would be the HUD.
