Hi, mouse freelook does not work for me on PC anymore with this jet, works fine with others? anyone else?
The lights are still bugged in this aircraft, they donāt light up the ground at all.
My feedback after the latest patch.
Before listing what I found, just let me tell that this is one of the best aircraft in FS2024, and after the patch, is even better. Some vital features are finally here, like the on screen checklist and the speed selector working exactly as in real life (one minute before the IAF goes to 180kt, when selecting flaps goes to 140kt and 95kt).
Some bugs are still present, but all in all, this is becoming a study level sim for the SF50.
Hereās my list:
- When activating the wing/stab IPS there is no animation on the wings, even after waiting for the full cycle
- After activating the wing/stab IPS, and the āStall Speed Highā CAS Advisory comes up, there is no way to reset it via GTC2 - Aircraft System - IPS Stall Speed Reset, as the option is grayed out. And if you select flaps 100%, the flaps actually move and you receive a red CAS Warning (real life version would inhibit the 100% flaps).
- On the PFD we should be able to see both COMs, not just the active one.
- The lateral navigation mode should be called GPS and not FMS (both on the AFCS and GTC1)
- The magenta Flight Director V-bar seems to be misaligned. When flying with AP on NAV mode and with some crosswind, the V-bar is always tilted away 1 or 2 degrees from where the autopilot is flying.
- The APR button does not engage if you donāt manually activate the approach. In real life, if you are already flying direct to any of the approach waypoint, it should be activatable.
- Emergency Battery CAS, that is a pain in the ā ā ā
- AT constantly flashing in yellow in the AFCS box when you manually disconnect the AP. It should not flash forever (or at all). But maybe is the way FS2024 handles the autopilot system, Iām not sure.
- There should be a CAS caution when turning on WING/STAB IPS with ENGINE IPS off.
This is what Iāve found in a short flight. Again, this version is awesome, very close to the real life version, except some understandable missing features like charts and some other in depth system customization that would require too much work.

Enjoy flying it. Only the emergency power and high stall warning after using de icing is annoying. Rest works mint.
The reference speeds are labeled weird, I don“t know if this is the way it is in real life, but on the 2020 version you got Vr and VREF, in this version see one that says X and the other one something else.
This airplane has de-icing boots, doesn“t it? they“re not animated as in the 2020 version.
Why is the system tests button inoperative? It was working in 2020.
Inspite of what I previously mentioned, this is the best default aircraft I“ve tried so far (I only fly GA)
In real life you bet Vr and Vclimb bugs by default (85 and 165), and you can turn on a Vx and Vref bug too if you want.
Question about the vj.
How do i see the route and then zoom in on the waypoints on the route? Can figure this out. There is not a show on map option when selecting a waypoint in the flightplan
What is the best way to plan a trip and stay clear om the mountains. How do i check the altitudes on the route.
I can not get the flightplan on the right split screen of the pfd. I only see the trafic display on the right split pfd
Is there a way to bind the checklist wheel to and key or knob on my conttoler?

It is a bit difficult to do in the sim as opposed to the IRL garmin but basically you would go to the waypoint in the flightplan and there will be an option āshow on mapā⦠this would move your map pointer to the waypoint then you could use the knob to zoom in on it. Then you could repeat that for the next waypoint or use the touchpad to scroll along the flightpath to the next waypoint.
for altitudes in the map options there is color scale legend inset that you can activate so you know what terrain color is which altitude.
on the middle mfd in the top right corner is your pane selector (if split)⦠there are 3 boxes and whichever one is blue is selected. Use the knob to select which pane you want, then choose the option on the mfd menu to populate that pane. Apart from the efi, the panes correspond to left screen right, right screen left and right screen right.
as far as a keybinding for the checklist wheel I donāt know, I just right click on the wheel with my mouse and it checks off items down the list.
Do checklists on the Vision Jet work? I can display them via GTC but i cannot tick items or scroll. Strange that nobody else seems to have this issue?!
If the checklist is on the PFD it works, but not if the checklist is on the MFD, which is the case when using the GTC
Yes, you can also use checklists in either pane of the MFD but you need to interact with the small knob (lower right) on the GTC rather than the checklist wheel. Remember to highlight the pane you are working with. Good luck!

Agreed. Sometimes when Iām flying the Vision Jet I just decide, āAh to heck with itā and I pull the handle just to watch it.
Edit: Oh I was thinking of the emergency chute system! But yes, the autoland is pretty cool, too. ![]()
After the latest update I can no longer use the Cirrus Vision Jet and the Pilatus pc 12 in career mode
Yes, I agree. Yesterday I tried the Vision Jet for the first time just to test this Emergency Autoland device.It worked fine for the entire flight but, after landing , it dināt fully stop on the runway.It reduced the speed down to 30 knots so at the end of the runway I activated the manual brakes.. I was told that It used to reach a full stop (this was before SU3..).
Though most of the time I have to engage the emergency autoland twice for it to find an airport.
