MSFS2024 Community Folders -Which one

Hi All,

I’ve noticed that within the packages folder there’s two community folders, one named community & the other Community 2024.

My question is which folder should I be using to place downloaded items into? I’ve noticed that some purchased airports select the 2024 folder by default. Is this because they are only made for the 2024 version of the sim?

so therefore some airports are installed in the community folder & some airports are installed in the community 2024 folder. Does this make any difference?

Hi. This question has already been asked and answered. Community is for add-ons that work under both FS2020 and FS2024. Both sims read from this folder. Community 2024 is only read by FS2024. Thanks. –Redeye
