I fly in 2D and I can’t get out of the back seat either.

As an alternative, MrTommyMxr’s excellent DA40NG mod is now also available in FS2024. Granted, it uses the old FS2020 aircraft model, but it’s certainly a more polished version of the stock aircraft avionics and behavior wise.
Just move your view around.
When I tried it in 2020 it wobbled all over if you went to sim rate 4 or above. Did they fix that?
I never used Sim Rate in either version, so I can’t say.
DA40 XLS is rather new, COWS’ second addition to the MSFS Marketplace.
It works in both 2020/2024 like a charm.
