I had it working.
I didn’t try NAV mode sticking to HDG mode only.
It is a really unique and interesting plane.

Nice model, but I’m experiencing the same issue as others: autopilot is definitely hosed on it.
I love this airplane! But there are issues with the night lighting: only the dome light works. The panel lighting does not work at all and the cabin light does not turn off. The emission of the panel text backlight is very weak and cannot be seen in the dark. Oh yeah, and the wipers don’t wipe raindrops, even though that was a stated feature in msfs 2024
Based on many reports regarding aircraft throughout 2024, it seems that is a definite issue sim-wide with lighting and the SDK.
In other words, it is going to take an SDK fix and/or the individual aircraft devs to incorporate the fix to restore the lighting.
I haven’t been able to get the trim working either, but I’m pretty sure I/we are missing something. It behaves like power isn’t connected to the trimming system.
Strange night lighting issue today. The green lights in the com unit right in front of you go out when you lean back, and come back on when you lean forward. It’s like they have an LOD attached to them.
I just had my first experience with the trim issue, after several flights with no problem. It happened after starting cold/dark on the ramp, however my previous flights were a mixture of both ramp, runway, and water starts
Same here. I started my flight cold & dark on the water. At first I couldn’t even take off at more than 90 knots until I put in full flaps. After that the trim simply doesn’t work, even though I see the animation on the yoke when I actuate it. As soon as I relax backpressure on the stick, the Seastar goes into a nose dive.
P.S.: the autopilot can’t hold the altitude either. It results in a nose dive as well.
I am not having the trim non-op issue others are having.
I can alter trim via my yoke switch and/or my Bravo’s trim wheel with a custom AuthentiKit elevator trim axis set for it.
I am also not having issues with the autopilot in HDG, NAV via VOR, VS or ALT modes.
Can not get the plane to TO after landing on water. Will not get over 64 kts and will not lift off. Am I missing something?
Is your gear down?
Is there a manual somewhere ?
Is the fuel burn correct? The fuel burn just seems really high and I’m only able to get maybe 300nm range with reserves out of it. Cruising at about 170-175 KTAS.
There appears to be some kind of LOD at work in the cockpit. If you translate back, the lights go out in the instruments.
No. Gear is up.
