can anyone more versed than me help me to get the soundpack from the freeware F27 to work on this?
It won’t - ever
The most detailed F27 to date with full cabin!

Wish I could get this on Xbox want the old NZ liveries
The inibuild is much better visually (in and out), but that’s it, a really deceiving aircraft. However, the freeware on flightsim.to from Benoit Gaurant is maybe a little bit appealing visually, but a MUCH more evolved aircraft system wise, airfile wise and sound wise. I’ve just spent money for nothing with the inibuild, the freeware is light years away (except visually if we compare between both, but still darn good though).
So the F27 just got upgraded to v1.0.2 any change log?
Maybe here. Release Notes – Sim Update 5 [1.7.27.0] Now Available | MSFS 2024 - Microsoft Flight Simulator
I’m not seeing it mentioned there, but it did coincide with SU5 release.
Someone mentioned the same issue with the 408??
I’ve asked on the Ini forums.
I do note a previous mention from their forum mod about an update coming, so I guess we have that now, we just have no idea what has been changed.
Any news on this one?
Not that I know of sadly my request on their forum has zero views and zero responses. Looks like they are currently body swerving the F27. Tbh we should have hada changelog via SU5 release notes, but nothing I have seen so far.
The throttle/prop pitch control is a lot better now, it’s much more ‘user-friendly’.
The flaps now seem to produce more lift so that you can reduce airspeed to 90 knots just before touchdown without stalling and dropping straight down to earth.
The stall warning sounds at around 100 knots but the stall itself happens between 80-85 knots and is actually recoverable.
Sorry I cannot comment on the CDI 2 issue, I only use GPS guidance.
It seems to be a very good update to a very good aircraft overall. If anyone feels that further updates are needed I’m certain they’ll be worth doing and be very well received - this aircraft is a great subject, the model is very well made and with any and all remaining bugs fixed it will surely deserve a Marketplace ‘most popular’ rating.
Perhaps message them on Face Book. (2) Facebook
been managing to get along with flight characteristics better, watching some cockpit landing footage i’ve figured i should be relying on trim a lot more especially at low speeds so im glad some of my gripes there were mostly user error. still really wish we had an option to strip the gps and run classic radio nav like the ys-11 though ![]()
I am not purchasing this aircraft unless I can get rid of the GPS.
Im almost sure that the Nav1 is connected to the GPS - and choices are 430, 530, TDS 650. The GPS has to used for VLOC mode if I recall.
i got it assuming you’d be able to since ini doesnt usually disappoint with options like that and yeah it’s a shame you can’t, i’ve just been pointing to other planes for the classic hauler experience for now
