You need to go to Flight Plan on lower MFD and then Proc, Approach and Activate and finally press APR button, tested in free flight and works as expected, ILS brought right to the threshold, but thanks to the buggy AI ATC, who requested again IFR clearence 50 ft RA above Runway landed without clearance, that was obtained before. At least on 2nd attempt, on 1st didn’t manage to capture the G/S. This was just quick spin from/to the same RW on the SID/STAR and airport that I know perfectly and the airport is 3rd party bought back in msfs-2020 time, but the developers assures full compatibility with the new FS24
Thanks, I will try
Just gave it a try and the exhaust gases looked so hot it appeared to be ripping holes in the fabric of space and time.
I tried my best at making an youtube video from what I know… also dont judge the amatuerism, I did it in since manuals are lacking lol. https://youtu.be/33X4UmSGBV4?si=vCd7yPQZU_P5eZ_-
You did great job! Many will be thankful you took the time to make the video.
Yes and it intrudes into the cockpit making everything blurry. It almost makes me sick in VR, and I’ve been doing VR for so long nothing makes me sick.
I only use this plane when I’m forced to in career mode, otherwise it’s the C208 for me hands down.
The Draco picked that up on the prior update too. The whole interior is flooded with exhaust gases. Looks worse than any ASW I’ve seen in VR.
The prop sound added with patch 3 is really wrong and takes away a lot from the immersion. It sounds like the one from the standard TBM 930. The engine sound, on the other hand, I find good.
This is how the correct propeller sound should sound:
Love the Cirrus bags ![]()
As an aside, you see how much easier to read those screens are in the real cockpit?! Much better color and contrast than the ■■■■ in the sim ![]()
Is it right that this plane has no synthetic vision system for the pfd?
It does, you have to enable it on the PFD overlay button. See earlier in the thread.
props to Working TItle for the fantastic job they did on the Garmins and whatever this avionics suite is called. the default aircraft in 2024 have aerodynamic and system modelling problems, but at least they have Working TItle’s solid avionics suites, so NAV and VNAV actually work relliably this time round (shock!).
i can’t find Proc, Approach, or Activate anywhere. can you post some screenshots? thanks.
For me it works fine, i load the approach with the EFB, ghen, when the first leg of the approsch is active, i press the APR button, next to HDG and NAV and it flies with AP.
Anyway, when trying to perform career missions with this piece of s…t, you die of hypoxia after a random period of time. How dare they ask to pay such amounts for an unplayable game?
If the the NAV mode will not engage, check the NAV source on the copilot’s screen. It needs to be set to FMS.
Yes, that was set correctly, showing the pink/magenta lines. It just didn’t appear to want to capture it, when crossing in HDG mode. The GPS was there in white text, but wouldn’t activate.
There are actually a lot of bugs/missing features in the Honeywell system here, and in the Garmins. WT did a good job but they don’t get a pass either.
It’s even frustrating that features that ARE working in the avionics in 2020 are broken/missing in 2024. Ultimately it is Microsoft’s blame, but 2024 feels incredibly rushed out the door before it was ready. It is a huge undertaking and there are just way too many things that didn’t get fixed or even checked.
I believe this is correct. When it’s showing the vector it’s indicating where the wind is coming from rather than the direction it’s blowing in.
Only if you haven’t paid any attention to how this plane works in the last 3 or so weeks. If you did, you’d notice that everyone says to keep it under fl180…
