This is a bug. Happens from time to time. No need to get a new plane. I have never had it happen back to back. Try a sim restart.
Did a SIM Restart AND after that did not help I restarted my computer. Did not help either.
So I repaired every good marked topic completly which costed around 2,5 Million Credits but changed nothing.
What finaly helped was to switch the propeller to low RPM (or better lower). After doing that you cold hear and see the Prop spinning up and the error message vanished and so did the master alarm. I immediately switched back to full RPM but the Error was gone and stayed away in two further missions I did afterward without repairing anything.
Real waste of money.
Can someone from Microsoft or Asobo please ask Carenado why they omitted one of the special features of the PC-12?
The rudder and ailerons should be linked as in the real PC-12.
SWS did it right in their PC-12 for FS2020.
I know that this makes it harder to make it fly by the book, but this issue makes this PC-12 kinda silly.
do you mean it adds a bit of counter rudder when you bank, and vice versa?
When you bank left, the rudder should also yaw left.
Just watch some videos of the real PC-12 or of the SWS PC-12.
Hi all, anyone succeed to use the weather radar (WX radar) on that upper MFD instead of the nexrad?
Nexrad is ok, but the weather radar shows nothing for me.
Did I missed something?
MSFS 2024 doesnât have a weather API, so weather radars cannot be implemented. for this reason most developers leave them INOP. those that donât use a cannned top-down 2D image provided by the sim which canât be tilted up or down to provide a 3d view of weather above and below the aircraft like a real weather radar.
it just happened again. Hitting repair and refuel did nothing. after i landed i did a full shutdown and restart and it they never came back. I also lost the lights on my AP panel. its like Iâm losing an entire bus, but i cycled all of the switches i could actuate. it happens every flight about 40 min in.
could you try or check something that bedevilled me for weeks? go to your advanced graphics settings in windows and make sure âHardware-accelerated GPU schedulingâ is set to OFF. this fixed my msfs 2020 constant CTD issues. i tried everything and chat gpt of all places told me to check it. it worked and i now have few/no CTDs.
for giggles, i just tried it (along with every other electrical switch) and the displays stayed dead.
I see returns from the weather radar. Both on the PFD and the ND.
Remember that the Nextrad shows different returns than the weather radar, since it could be reported at a different altitude.
You can use authrottle during climb, but then donât use FLC, use Vertical Speed : at 2000 or 2500 ft/min you wonât have ITT problems.
This is completely incorrect.
Trying to read the displays is a nightmare especially the middle screen. Not enough contrast.
then the real airline pilots and third party devs who have commented on the issue must be mistaken.
Itâs possible. This is what Black Square is doing with their StarshipâŠ
Have to say Iâm scratching my head over this one. First time in this aircraft for me.
Has anyone notice that when you enter a cargo (in the cargo variant) and hit âLOAD IN AIRCRAFTâ instead of the suspension going down under load the rear wheels lift off the ground.
You can then proceed to defy gravity and taxi on one wheel everywhere and take off. I guess technically Iâve lifted off already.
EDIT: Itâs not just the cargo variant either, they all behave in this way. Load them via
EFB â Flight performance â Mass and balance â Cargo
and the rear wheels lift off the ground every time.
Yes really. If MSFS is using âa canned, top down 2D imageâ please explain what is taking place in the video I posted?
Asobo has provided the API to create a radar that projects a 3D cone ahead of the aircraft that detects precipitation. It has adjustable range.
Whilst Emi might not like it, thatâs what it does. It is not a 2D bit map and it is not a top down view.
This radar is used by all the Inibuilds Airbuses, the Maddog MD80, the PMDG 777 (soon to be brought to the 737) and all the default airliners as well as numerous third party and default GA aircraft.
2024 will, apparently, add tilt to the functionality.
It works rather well and descending through a layer of rain cloud in the 777 it looks fantastic - much better than having a label sayingâIn Opâ on a major flight deck instrument.
The problem with MSFS isnât the WXR itself, the problem is thereâs no real need to divert around the weather.
