[MSFS2024] Pilatus PC-12 NGX

Did you check if there is a discontinuity in your flight plan? Upon reaching the last waypoint before it AP will just switch to ROL and you have to tell it what to do next.

I just did a compete approach with AT on. FMS even decreased the speed in steps down to 90 knots, I only switched to full manual control on short final.

Correct. Not the whole approach; just the final approach phase. The AT oscillates too much and will put you into and out of the stall/alpha floor.

I had no such oscillation, AT could hold the 90 knots without trouble. Per POH AP is to be disengaged at 1000ft AGL (except when on ILS GS), so I did not use it below that.

well that was no fun trip. Took off and got an tire malfunction warning after 15 minutes. Landed safely on DES but could not taxi any further, And no possibility to skip so had to abort the missionā€¦new aircraft, only 5 flights and wear 3%

Is this normal (with msfs i guess yes?)

Did you check the details section of the landing gear in the maintenance page? Iā€™m assuming this is career mode. Iā€™ve had issues where simply clicking the big blue button for repair doesnā€™t repair everything. And your have to click on each section (landing gear, engine, controls etc) and click details to see a breakdown of each component. Tires seem to wear pretty fast in the sim. And cost a ton to repair for some reason. I had to pay a 6 figure sum to fix tire pressureā€¦ That must be some premium air

Apparently itā€™s nitrogen used for filling aircraft tyres - not sure if it is all aircraft or only the bigger or faster jets.

Maintenance has gone totally insane now. Its not worth flying when you lose money on every flight. The cost of tear on the planes is way more than the bonus for not skipping. Again , one step forward and two steps back. Maybe its three steps back this time.

If you click on details, it is not 6 figures just to fix tire pressure (its less than 2000 credits per tire). If you just willy-nilly perform maintenance on your landing gear, that will cost six figures every time.

Sorry buddy, I go through every possible work around and lately Iā€™m getting hit with six figure repairs after one flight and that one even got me 98% ā€œrespect of aircraftā€ rating. This system is getting more broken every day.

Maybe there was more, Iā€™ll see what it cost next time

You went all the way down into the details for each component, rather than using the quick but expensive delegate repairs option?

Thereā€™s a panel directly to the right of the pilot seat where you can set the brightness of the screens but itā€™s not that accurate, well at on my screen itā€™s not but I donā€™t have a high end pcā€¦

If you are viewing the aircraft with external camera the checklist wonā€™t work but it should work if youā€™re on cockpit camera

As I now finally can use normal cruise levels, I have encountered a new problem: I have set Mach .47 as cruise speed, which is not far from the red line. If I now set a descent, the plane will overspeed and I have to disable A/T and pull back the throttle to get the speed down. Even if I then reactivate A/T it will again overspeed. Is Mach .47 just too much for a descent, or is this an A/T problem?

Itā€™s a bug. I always disengage AT just before descent and engage it again once I get the speed stable using the throttle. AT then usually works all the way down set at 170 knots.

Yes I did as always

Iā€™ve been avoiding auto throttle since it does overshoot the mark. But you can also set the FMS to use .46 instead of .47, give yourself a little more headroom.

You can set your cruise speeds and flight level on the center/upper MFD. I have been changing mine to Mach 0.4 / 210 kts and usually 11,000 feet. I havenā€™t had any problems with over speeding on descent with these values.

I have the same issue on xbox, not only did none of the work arounds fix it i csnt even get the nav button to come on and none of the touch screen buttons work
