Once GS gets updated to v 30.103.10001.0 by MS Store, FS 2024 crashes on startup.
Then I have to again do the workaround.
Microsoft needs to fix GS 30.103.10001.0 , so that FS 2024 no longer crashes.
I will continue tomorrow, as I only had 2 h sleep last night because of this problem…

The OP problem is solved now. If you’re still having issues, you should reach out to the folks responsible for Gaming Services, the Xbox app, Microsoft directly or MSFS Zendesk.

OK I try your solution tomorrow, then update GS in MS Store and will see if FS 2024 works or crashes.

If you update Gaming Services, you will almost certainly get a CTD so don’t even try it.
I do know how to permanently fix this issue for a while, until Microsoft or Asobo decide to properly fix Gaming Services and the game. But it would require me to make pretty deep changes to your system — like I did back in 2021 when I put out the fire caused by Gaming Services breaking MSFS for many players.
Right now, I don’t want to mess with players’ systems because that’s Microsoft’s responsibility, and I could get accused of making unauthorized changes or something.

I remember GS stopping FS 2020, and the problem started on a Friday afternoon: no FS for the whole week end…

My problem is similar but different. This just started yesterday for me. The 2024 game installs as normal but when I try to go to VR with my Crystal Super the transition practically freezes up. After a long wait the VR image shows but is so slow to react to movements that it is totally unplayable. I have tried to do this in 2020 and everything is normal.
