So I was flying an Icon A5 through a thunderstorm at FL150 over Cape Canaveral at max timewarp (realistic, right?), and started to wonder how this worked with multiplayer. I can only imagine that if I initiate timewarp while in a multiplayer environment, I would appear to zoom by other players. Is this what happens? I know that when I timewarp, the clock speeds up, as well as the position of the sun, but I’ve never seen what happens to my position compared to other players when I do that. Does it make sense to disable timewarp if your flight conditions are set to anything other than “OFF”, or at least bind the disabling of timewarp to the “LIVE” Weather & Time setting?
I’ve also noticed that sometimes my in game clock gets out of sync with the real clock, perhaps forcing a clock sync would make sense when set to “live” weather & time.
What are the internet’s thoughts? Perhaps we should mark something like “Timewarp still enabled when LIVE Weather & Time selected” as a bug, and get a ton of upvotes. I’d love to hear the devs thoughts on this topic.
