Well, this one clearly does.
No, my point is that it is not a 2024 livery as there’s not even a 2024 version of that plane. It is mis-labeled in the Marketplace.
Did some more testing, as I find this interesting. I disabled the 2024 pack and enabled the 2020 pack. After a quick check, it seems like the 2020 pack works without problems in FS2024, as well. Which raises the question, if the 2024 pack is even needed at all.
The 2020 pack is version, 1.4.0, in FS2024, which is the same version number as the one in FS2020. The 2024 pack is version 2.0.0. If there actually are any differences between them, I have no idea.
I was also maybe wrong about one thing I said earlier. My guess is, that you probably will get the 2020 pack as well, if you buy the 2024 pack. The other ATR items from this developer, states that you get the 2020 items upon purchase, but this text is absent on my livery pack, presumably because I already own that.
I also couldn’t find any other 2024 liveries for 2020 planes. It is an interesting problem, though. Because if you can make a 2024 livery for a 2020 plane, but at the same time, that livery doesn’t exist in FS2020, if you label that livery “2020”, that implies that the product is available in FS2020. But you are saying that you actually can’t make a 2024 livery for a 2020 aircraft, and that this product is, in fact, a 2020 livery, only mislabeled as 2024? I have no idea, but it is interesting nonetheless.
Edit: saw your last post right after I wrote this. Got it!
Final note, don’t hold your breath on that one… ![]()
If it weren’t included in the Aviator Edition I might be inclined to agree, but they’ve confirmed that the majority of the Aviator Edition aircraft will get updates to become 2024-native. I would think the ATR would likely be one of the most popular of those aircraft to become 2024-native/Career-compatible/etc.
4simmers livery pack works for my ATR in 2024.
Correct - to be clear, I was always suggesting that either one of two things were true:
A) They created 2024 liveries for the 2024 ATR, which doesn’t exist, so it’s probably not this, or…
B) They created 2020 liveries for the 2020 ATR (which is the only one available in 2024) and it has been mislabeled in the Marketplace as being for 2024
Your experience points to option B), which is still a bug that needs fixed.
Yes. Atr is not native to 2024, but works as it did in 2020, not better. But the livery pack works fine in 2024 as well.
Confirmed to be available next year
By whom and where? Jorg said it’s being worked on, may have even said it’s being prioritized, but that’s far from confirmed with any timeline in my experience.
Holy ■■■■… I just purchased it right before seeing your command. -12$…
The planes or the liveries? The plane works. I got it to work after reading the comment on my original reply. It’s in the unverified category. Not sure if this is still true as it was a while ago but it did work in 2024.
The plane itself, not liveries.
I’m premium delux version in 2020 and Standard version in 2024.
I got access to most of the planes like SR22 or TBM930 in 2024, but not for ATR. So I decided to purchase it in 2020. Then I sccessfully downloaded it in 2020 and tested it. Then I switch to 2024, and browsed through my whole library, even delected the ‘Disable for MSFS2020’ tag to look for the ATR but still cannot find it.
Are you in aviator version? I doubt that might be the reason.
Okay I got it now. It took 2 days to showup in my library lol.
Bumping this for visibility as it’s an issue that’s a lot more relevant now that the 2024 ATR does exist. Also altering the bug title to reflect that. Here’s one example showing that this is in every way indicating that it is for the 2024 version of the ATR, though it can’t be as it was released (and even last updated) nearly a year before that aircraft’s release.
Here are the twelve (12) offending products which indicate the above yet are absolutely not compatible with the newly released 2024-native ATR.
I was thinking about this thread when I tried the old liveries for the 2024 ATR, and they of course didn’t work. Quite the mess, when you think about it. I’m predicting upset customers in the near future.
Agreed. For those following along with MSFS 2024’s development it’s a foregone conclusion that 2020 liveries will not work on a 2024 model, but the way the Marketplace pages present these liveries there would be absolutely no distinction between 2020 and 2024, which is why I think their presentation as “2024” products was an error from the beginning.
