Multiple GPU with MSFS2020

Hello every one.

Is it possible to run MSFS2020 using two GPUs ? by the way i have the GTX1070 and the GTX1050Ti installed on my PC and i would like using them both for a better performance.

thanks in advance

No.

Also, more broadly, SLI and Crossfire are more or less dead from a development perspective. Not only do very few game developers even try to support it, but the hardware developers themselves are starting to deprecate the functionality. For example, on the NVIDIA Ampere 3x cards it will only be available on the 3090, and you have to buy another NVLink…

When you add it all together:

1.) Very few consumers have multi-GPU setups.
2.) Low-level coding is time consuming to implement.
3.) Limited return on investment in terms of how much better it is.
4.) The OEMs are ditching it at all but the highest tier of chipset.

It just doesn’t make sense most of the time.

Multiple GPUs won’t help in MSFS. In games where it does, it has to be in SLI mode (identical dual GPUs with an SLI bridge between them). And the sharing of rendering duties is done via the driver IF the game supports it.

So even in games where multiple GPUs will work, your setup won’t.

I would suggest yes… but not at this time.

There are certain software applications that allow multiple g cards to be used to render images.

As said, not with out support but there is an option going forwards.
