It’s most likely your CPU, going from boost 3.6Ghz to 4.6Ghz with a modern architecture should be the main performance gain.
I’m flying with 16GB RAM (3200) and have no issues whatsoever, so the amount of ram is not as relevant since the sim and windows manages it including the pagefile (if it’s on an SSD).
