my msfs 2020 premium deluxe pc version is no longer showing in my library in the ms app store. when i launch the game it now tries to run the xbox version and of cause the game crashes, please help me recover my pc version of the game

You could try resetting the three main apps that run the sim.
MS Store, Gaming Services and Xbox app.
Reset is found in Windows Apps and Features, under Advanced Options.
Ensure in the MSStore Library that all updates are installed.

Thank you @TheSevenflyer for your help. I ended up having to call MS Support and was transferred to the XBOX specialists team. I dealt with Francis who was very helpful. to cut a long story short my issue with no longer being able to run my FS 2020 Deluxe premium since I first installed it (I have the dvd box set version) and ran it via my MS Store library back in 2021 was in my case an issue with my digital registration my version of MSFS got removed by the App Store due to my version expiring after 3 years! This was a mixup at MS end. Between the MS App Store and my XBOX games library registration of my game.

Resolved by having to reinstall (yes) MSFS via the XBOX library. Where my MSFS now resides. So once I started the install via the XBOX app then it automatically installed the standard version first and than the premium upgraded versions

So now whenever I run the game it has to be launched via the XBOX library under PC games and also if you have the DVD box set you will be asked to insert the dvd before MSFS can launch. There is no way around not having to insert the dvd - this is normal if you purchase the dvd box set of the game. I hope this helps anyone that comes across the same issue

Francis from the XBOX games team assured me that my game should not digitally expire in error like it did before (fingers crossed)
