I’ve always loved a nice blue/green combination. So… yeah.
Pics were taken over Turks and Caicos islands. Before I’m able to post these I need to figure out the technique needed to get each livery in it’s own Community folder. Right now there are just a couple (and sometimes just one) file that I’ve repainted and it works in the main aircraft folder. But I know it has to be done right. So give me a day or 2 or 3 to figure it out. I’m sleeping less because I can’t put this thing down.
tomlaut1980 made this gorgeous Thai livery for the A320 Neo - I fiddled with his files just to see if I could make it work - and here it is. He did a BEAUTIFUL job! It looks like he’s allowing me to post videos of it and if he gives me the ok I’ll share the livery with you all.

I’ll be your first customer. Please let me know!!! @moxiejeff
I’m in for the blue 172. @FunkyHut
Great job!
Custom liveries need to be a thing in MSFS 2020 NOW.
I’ve been up about 24 hours now. Finally trying to sleep. The liveries are coming so hang in there.
Now we need to figure out how to make them selected at menu!
Well done!
I can’t believe just how incredibly complex it is to create a livery in MSFS.
It would help a lot if we were able to overlay a wire mesh diagram over the texture to help with positioning things on the model.
Thanks!
I used to do lots of texture maps in other sims, and I’m scratching my head at the methods used here. You open up an airplane’s folder and it’s just a hodgepodge of whacky looking textures! It makes zero sense to me. Oh well. At least we all seem to be making progress, so that’s good.
You’re right @DizzyBasket7278. That’s how most people texture map - so you can see exactly what/where your painting. Not so here.
Thanks for all your hard work.
My recent background was in X-Plane PBR textures , a walk in the park compared to MSFS.
Cheers
I just see it as challenging fun, really. It’s fun to see your creations show up in this beautiful sim! It’s all good.
Loving the custom liveries! Would love to see more for GA props

Thanks for stepping up and running with the ball. Repaints are looking great. Somewhere down the line, some burgundy colors would blow my skirt up.

LOL, well OK.
My first car was burgundy, @Jetjockey101737… so I can relate.

My 3rd one was a 67 burgundy vette. Thanks again for your work.
My repaints… you can see them in action here.
I can’t wait to get a Repaint SDK so I can post these liveries. For now I’m just painting the default aircraft since I’m unsure how to create all the json files for the individual livery folders. I hope you guys enjoy this. It’s a bit long but I was having too much fun cloud surfing.
If anyone wants to volunteer I can send the files to you to be made into the proper file system. Just let me know. Thanks.!
Painted the Pitts Special last night. I’m going to do lots more with this one. I love it.

Maybe you could ask some of those guys that put the 40 liveries together for the A320. There are several guys in that group that would probably help you get it going.
Good idea, thanks for that. I will later today. Wrapping up another video which will be linked at the end of the earlier one.
