Edit. Solved. Someone had posted to restart the PC. Should have tried that first. After I unplugged the Alpha and Bravo and the rudder pedals. I plugged in the Xbox controller and after 20 sec it responded. It is back and working well. I cleared all the bindings except for the camera ones to avoid conflicts.
Btw the cockpit and map views that slowly migrate can be arrested by making a movement on the controller. After that the camera creep stopped immediately.
