Mine is a pro and brand new day after Xmas. Nothing else on it except fs24. I feel something must be graphically wrong if it is consuming that much memory. Asobo and whoever partnered on this aircraft need to refine it a bit. She’s great otherwise. I find her enormously interesting.
The memory warning I have seen also with other planes after doing several flights in a row on PS5. There are memory leaks in msfs 2024 for sure. That’s why i restart the game after one or two flights in general.
But if msfs 2024 runs on an xbox series S with 10 gigs of ram, than the ps5’s 16 gig should be sufficient. I guess the whole RAM management of the msfs 2024 is currently far from being optimized yet. See all those avionics crashes on console.
Google Gemini said, there would be a complete RAM Management rewrite incoming for SU5. But as always I am not sure, if gemini hallucinates or if this is a valid information from the devs. It just stated it.
Anyways… As PC players have this issue with this plane as well it surely does not depend on the inatalled RAM. (most modern gaming pcs run 32 or more gigs of ram)…
Same exact issue here! I was just about to make a new topic when i saw this.
Every 2-3 seconds theres a massive mainthread spike that sutters the whole sim. It happens independantly of airport/live service/traffic. I could not understand why i got this issue. It doesnt matter if its sitting on the runway or in the air, it happens continusly.
I spent so much time trying to figure out what was causing this and used a lot of time on this.. wish i saw this post earlier…
I tested other inibuilds aircraft to see if i could see the same issue but it appears to be only the YS-11. Its fustrating when devs dont test their aircraft properly, they would have quickly realized something is wrong. Especialyl since so many others report the exact same issue! It happens with only this aircraft.

So nothing seems to be happening with regards to the stutters , i for one will never buy anything else from the inibuilds team and i encourage others to think twice also.
This was an Inibuilds/ MS/Asobo plane. It is MS/Asobo’s responsibility to update this now. Hopefully they get around to fixing all the problems in all of their aircraft.
Inibuilds have just brought out the L1011 Tristar and actively update it weekly. They have also just updated the A340 and A350.
The problem lies when MS/Asobo commisions a dev to make these but then the lines blur about who is responsible to update the faults.
