No worries. I tried two methods to plan the flight in MCDU. First, entering it all manually, SCOTT was not on the list for departure. Second, I imported the flight plan direct into the MCDU from Simbrief. SCOTT showed up as part of the plan until I tried to verify it via the departure screen where again it wasn’t listed. I turned ATC off but experience tells me that is only part of the problem. The AP will still only do what the sim itself allows it to. This happened to me the other day using a Simbrief plan; Flew YMML to NZWN got all the way to Simzi waypoint then AP turned the plane around and starting heading back to Australia. This was before I updated my nav data and got a navigraph subscription so even then the AIRAC (v.2003) was all out of whack.
But sure, I would appreciate someone else having a go at this and see what results you get. Quite possible user error but from what I understand from some research I did yesterday and as per Richard’s response it seems its an issue that remains unresolved. Of course I could be reading that all wrong too.
