now after while (I must say, stopped support Navigraph with Beta for a while due bugs with updates), can you pls report news, how it goes with functionality? Something changes? Very apreciated only reports, user experienece, possible bugs still presented. Thnx…
I start my first bug that discovered as first - RNAV approches glide indicator doesn’t work and is freezed fully up. Is this solved by Navigraph? Sry I don’t want to go to Navigraph page/Forum, thnx for infos from users here.
You mean Navigraph FMS or Charts?
Pretty sure he is talking about the FMS data.
I currently have beta 13 installed and haven’t run across any issues yet. Can’t really speak to RNAV approaches though as I normally shoot ILS and all of them have been fine.
On a side note though after the 1.9.3 update I lost an airport, BGTL, up in Greenland. After I updated NAV data with the Navigraph data the airport reappeared on the world map.
meh. can’t even install the beta software, it just hangs. charts+maps work though, but its kinda useless if the fms data is incongruent. they did say they’re coming out with a new installer though. that was a week ago.
you do know what beta testing is, if not i let you. beta teams is to find bug so the developers teams can fix them. i’m not on the beta teams but do a navigraph product.
Lots of improvement since initial release! Done multiple RNAV approaches with the TBM, so that’s fixed. Also all procedures are in the sim now, exept for the one without runway designated, but that’s a SIM limitation. They also fixed the magvar issue with navaids
All by all a big improvement in regards with the supplied navdata!
Just for my understanding, installing this Navigraph beta program replaces all the navigation data that is in the sim by default from Navblue?
If so, I would assume that creating a flight plan for example in SimBrief, then have it opened in Navigraph and exported in the sim, will be would be exactly the same in the sim worldmap?
yip. that is the idea.
you did read the topic title? if not i’ll tell you. it’s asking for people about their experience with the beta software. software for which you have to pay to download.
…but at least they’re honest its still in beta… unlike other software ahem

Hope you understand I don’t care about Charts only NAV data DB. I don’t use any SW from Navigraph inside MSFS only want have updated DB as usually from 1998 year within simulation. As I said, RNAV approaches functionality is my important question and thank you for answer to this. Maybe I’ll try after weeks Beta to test but with this situation with broken sim is hard to test something correctly…
likewise. i don’t care for the charts+moving maps either, there are alternatives to that. yes i’m a bit bummed the beta won’t install for me, i think it may have something to do with steam installs.
but yes you are right, msfs is still too unstable to evaluate third party addons properly, especially with something that will be embedded into it like navigraph.

I didn’t have problems with Install that Beta (message about Java appeared but not problem install) but as first person adviced about RNAV app glide indicator problem and want know after time if this is solved now. ILS and other things were worked for me +/- Also adviced about missing functionality with NAV2 - VOR missing f.ex. Thnx…
I have steam version as well, no problems. Did you try to install as admin? Because that gives problems
i’ve tried installing both as normal user and as admin… reinstalled fresh steam & msfs, nearly everything short of re-installing my o/s, which i cannot afford to do. there’s errors on event viewer even before i click install on the setup app, ie when it authenticates with the browser. like it can’t figure out my config or something.
Could be to do with your account authentication.
You could try to delete login (believe it’s in ‘%appdata%/navigraph-desktop’), set chrome as standard browser, delete navigraph through app and programs, download newest version from the forum, install, login through chrome (should happen automatically). These are the steps navigraph recommends with problems

appreciate your help. but yeah i’ve already removed the navigraph desktop, charts, symlink and latest fms data installer. now i’m just trying to run the beta installer for msfs. i’ve had all of the above navigraph software installed previously and they all worked 100%. …but okay i’ll try delete those files/directories again and see if it helps…
