NAVs in Cessna 152 malfunctioning

I hope I’m posting this in the right place. I’m a pilot not a flight simmer. I’m preparing for my instrument check ride and am trying to use MSFS to practice approaches at the very least. I had trouble operating the avionics in the Cessna 172, I wasn’t able to get approach points to initiate after the IAF. I just decided to do ILS approaches in a Cessna 152 and they worked!

The next day when I tried flying the approach when I’m about 5 miles north of the airport the coms and navs starting blinking and every 10 seconds or so the CDI and glideslope needles deflect to a bottom left indication before centering again. Sometimes I hear ATC approve a frequency change right before this happens. I tried this at different airports.

I haven’t changed in the setting since this stopped working for me. I have a Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo setup. I just want to be able to practice my scan and my control inputs on approaches. Is this a glitch or something I’m doing wrong.
