Need guidance on a Hidden key bind to HC Bravo

Hi All,

Long story short. I have bound one of the switches on my HC Bravo to the cabin lights in a TBM. When I press the switch the cabin lights come on. Excellent!. BUT the Aux Boost pump comes on as well and keeps flashing on the Screen until I switch the lights off.

I have checked the bravo config in MSFS and can’t find anything else bound to the same switch as cabin lights.

Can anyone help me track this down pls.

Thanks

Josh

You can find what’s bound by using the “input” search and hitting your axis or button. That should tell you what things are bound to that controller axis/button, whatever.

Thanks. Tried that and it only shows the cabin light as being bound. Is there somewhere else that could impact this?

Thanks again for the help.

Have you tried looking at it in reverse, search for the Fuel Pump option and see what’s bound to it and clear it?

Do you have lights assigned to another controller?

Thanks @WobbliestAce53 and @skypilotYTS , really appreciated your help.

I have just been through all devices and checked for any double binding of cabin lights and fuel pump. None exist in MSFS configurator. I even when into the specific switches for this things and even though it was blank for pumps I cleared them anyway. But it is still happening, the cabin light I have bound to the bravo activates the Aux BP over and over again Until I switch the light off.

I had wondered if I had bound that key in the Bravo in some other software like the Honeycomb configurator but that doesn’t actually load.

Is there a windows app that is used to bind buttons? I have checked USB game devices but I don’t see you can bind a key in that.

Completely stuck. Again thanks for the help.
Josh (Video of the issue attached)

I have cabin lights turning on using one of the switches in the line of switches on the bravo.
I have a separate switch - one of tbe other switches in the line on tbe HB - assigned to fuel pumps
Both seem to work fine independently. Parking brake, antiice, pitot heat, yaw damper being other assigned switches.
So they do work.

Another thought - do you have other controllers turned on at same time like TCA throttles/yoke.
I found that these - even though no duplicate assignments - caused issues with HC Alpha/Bravo.
If so try turning off other controllers to see if problem persists.

Thanks. The Thrustmaster warthog is plugged in but I set it to a blank profile in MSFS. BUT will unplug it from the USB and report back. Thanks for the idea.

Other test might be to empty your community folder in case another add-on may not play nice.

I now use USB hubs with buttons to individually turn off usb ports on confrollers not being used for a particular aircraft.

thanks Both,

I emptied the community folder and it still happened so I then unplugged every USB device 1 by 1 even the stream deck. It still happened. Very bizarre! I even unplugged the bravo and that was the only time it stopped.
Really beginning to think this Bravo switch is configured outside of the Sim, in the Honeycomb configuration program. I would check but it installs but does not launch :unamused:

Thanks Again for the help
