Need help finding a post re: a thorough detailed maintenance regimen

I’m hoping someone will be able to help me find a post here on the forums. I’ve searched using a bunch of keywords with Advanced Search and just can’t find it. Thought I’d post here in hopes that someone will have bookmarked it or remember who created the post.

It details the poster’s thorough, detailed maintenance routine for his/her PC, to keep MSFS running smoothly and reliably.

It was a fairly long post listing out all the items performed on a very consistent, regular basis. I believe some were run daily, some weekly. It was a very detailed regimen.

Items like:
Keeping Windows up-to-date.
Checking the Microsoft Store for any updates and applying those.
3rd Party updates.
Driver updates.
Clearing caches.
Checking Sys Event logs.
May have even included running Windows System File Checker and DISM on a regular basis.

Thank you for any help you can provide!

Thank you, that must be it!

I say “must be” because I thought it had included running SFC and DISM. But I did a lot of searches and couldn’t find a post that included those in a comprehensive list.

Thank you again for both your reply here and for creating your excellent list to begin with!
