NeoFly 2.15.2 Career Add-on Out Now

Can you add UI in other languages? For example, Chinese. It would be better if there were Chinese pronunciation. Even paid content is acceptable.

Same question about added aircrafts, how do we know if everything is okay? And how to delete it if not?

And how to delete it if not?

The data is on common.db file that is located in C:\ProgramData\NeoFly
It is on open SQLite format so you can edit it with any SQLite editor (I prefer DB browser)

Would it not be more realistic that you needed to travel back to your home airport? Or at least some missions available where you can choose a job both directions?

What is a home airport? If you do not have an FBO then you can just fly around and eventually can also find aroute back to starting airport.

Normally companies have a homebase where they return to. Pilots also have their house “near” their homebase.

You’re only going to get jobs in both directions if you’re doing scheduled runs.

In Neofly, you’re basically doing the job of a motorcycle courier or long distance truck driver. You go where the goods need to go, not where you need to go. If you want, take a job from your home base to whereever, take a second job back in sort of the same direction as your home base and then do a relocation flight (look at the bottom of the mission window, you’ll see it) back to your home base again.

In version 2.11 the “Flight plan” column in the mission menu is much too wide!
Please change it back to normal wide.

I found the cause of the wide FlightPlan column.
It’s because of a mission that has an extremely long FlightPlan description.

Hi
since converting the sound files they are much too quiet.
When the engine is running or the ATC is talking, the announcements are barely or not at all understood.
Please increase the volume of the mp3 files !!!

A couple of people have said this. In both cases they didnt have Windows Media Player installed. Maybe you can try that until we work out why. Most people have no issue. Its a strange one.

I tryed it, but it is not better with the WMP installed.

And now since 2.14, my new added airplanes are not at any airport avaliable ?

I find them in aircraftdata but not in aircraftmarket in the COMMON.DB

I can only assume the MP3 thing is something at your end as you are now the only known person out of 1000’s with the issue.

Maybe you could go into the Neofly Sound folder (where you extracted the download) and try playing some of the MP3s outside of the game and see what they sound like.

The new planes will appear eventually, but to speed up the process you can delete all the planes in the aircraftmarket (and save). When you next load up Neofly and start searching, the aircraftmarket will start to populate again (with all aircraft from aircraftdata)

Thank you very much for the fast respond, i will try it and report.

I do not know this because of my in-depth video I did or not. But I got a job here on Neofly Ver. 2.15 that had me fly a drops zone mission for a medic to the scene that stated in the audio that it was a downed plane. I get to the scene of the accident here in Microsoft flight simulator and this is what I see. That is pretty ■■■■ awesome. Neofly using the assets to generate a scene. This is pretty ■■■■ cool and a first for me, that economy module uses assets in this manner. Cheers Dion

Great Job Neolord.

And for those of you who havn’t seen my review 2.13.2 link: here https://youtu.be/hJ5pNCBaISs I know shameless plug Cheers Dion

It worked with the planes! TOP
Unfortunately not with the mp3 files.
I have now reduced the volume of the motors.
So that’s it.
Via which MSFS channel are the mp3s played?
Voices or cockpit noises or … ??

this looks great.

Do you have to start each ‘mission’ as a cold and dark start or can you expedite things and start on the runway?

Neofly will start a mission once your engine is running, so you can:

  • start cold and dark, start your engine, connect NeoFly to start a mission, then taxi to the runway and take off
  • start cold and dark, start your engine, taxi to the runway, connect Neofly to start a mission and then take off
  • start hot and light (I might have just made that up…) on the runway, connect Neofly to start a mission, then take off

All work equally well; essentially the only requirement for starting a mission is to have your engine running and still be on the ground (and have the correct weight on board, of course : )

thats great, thanks!

I find just releasing and re-engaging the parking brake works as well.
