Never seen any other aircraft taxiing or lining up for take-off

I’d like to know if it’s just my issue or it’s the way it is. Even in the busiest airports I always taxi alone, and the runway is always wide open for me. Don’t like this presidential treatment…

It’s not just you. Strange, isn’t it? I believe the only recourse is to use an app like AIG to populate the airports. I use it and it works, but it may not be for everyone.

Once a few weeks ago I actually saw an airliner somewhere (I think LAX) actually taxi and take off (before I activated AIG). But it’s extremely rare.

At the moment, the best way to see Departing Traffic is to use a third party tool and AI Offline Traffic settings. I myself use Aerosoft Simple Traffic and I see departing GA and jetliner traffic regularly, even below the recommended manufacturer settings for Traffic Density. There is a Live Traffic Departing bug report that you can participate in (and vote if you wish).
