Never starting on selected runway

No matter what airport i select, i choose a runway and hit fly. Once loaded i am on a different runway. happens constantly.

This new feature is from the SU14 Release Notes, and may be the issue.

NEW CONTENT/FEATURES

  • Added flight plan assistance setting for ATC in the user experience assistance settings so that users can request the ATC to favor their flight plan or world map flight settings over the current conditions. This assistance is set to “Active” by default. Active: ATC will set the active runway and approach for the departure and arrival airport based on the users flight plan or settings in the world map. Deactivated: ATC will set the active runway and approach based on current conditions only.

I have no issues with picking a start location, as long as it is the last thing I do before selecting “Fly”.
If I do anything after selecting the start location, it’s lucky that I am still at the correct airport😉

That would certainly cause it.
With it off, ATC is picking the runway based only on the weather.

But i dont use ATC whatsoever. Not using flight plan either. simply selecting the runway. are you referring to “ATC enforce flight plan” ?

Yes that would be it, at least that is my understanding.
Certainly worth a try.

I can confirm that with the settings set to ON i am now starting at the selected runway.
