For those of you with AMD CPU’s there were some new chipset drivers released yesterday.
Just select the right one for your motherboard.
Installed the latest on my B450 based board with no problems.
Benchmarks a fraction higher so far, but may just be within the margin of error.

I’m on a 3700X @4.4 GHz, 2070 Super and 32GB of 3600MHz ram. Works really well for me in this sim.

Mine does 4.2 GHz @ 1.275V
I use my 3700X@4.2GHz, 32 GB of 3000 MHz RAM (it’s 3200 but unstable at XMP settings) and an RTX 3080 FE
I just used a preset overclock in the motherboard bios.
According to CPU-Z it’s at 1.45V when running this sim. It is water cooled, runs at about 55-65 C when in sim.
Test Prime95. Anything higher than 1.3V, definitely lower it to prevent degrading your chip.

it’s not running constantly at 4.4GHz on all cores it jumps up to that from about 3.6 as required.
It was the performance setting in the bios. Isn’t it just excessive heat that causes the reduced life, as long as my water cooling is keeping it in range it should be ok?
I had an Intel system before, you get chipset updates for that too.
