yeah - if anyone is out there with plans to make a DH-2c for MSFS but is waiting for ASOBO to do stuff first - why? We have float planes, they can land and take off on the water, if they have water rudders they work fine.
Mist and smoke will be great when they get here but there is no need to wait for them…
quick question on your seaplane bases - is it possible to add lights to the slips and docks? either short post lights or something along the sides imbedded in the rails? Having spent some time around boats and quays, moorings, docks and slips I can tell you they are always lighted. Folks like to have a few drinks now and again and while a few lights don’t keep them from taking a header now and again - a bit of light is still helpful.
From the floatplane perspective lights help keep you from striking the dock in the dark
