New comp recommandations

Hi guys…hope everybody is fine
so, i will need your precious and useful recommandations again…
so, i bought last week my new monitor, the samsung 34" wide 3440*1440…
of course, my humble I5, 12 gb rma, GTX 1050 ti was suffering…even everything on low…
so, after many days of looking, comparing, thinking , i decided to buy a new one even my kinda low budget, and i think (hope) i found a correct stuff
so, it’s a lenovo gaming T5…the specs are

intel core i5 hexacore 2.9 GHZ
16 gb ram, but i will expand with an extra 16 GB, so total will be 32 GB
nvidia GeforceRTX 2060 6GB
HDD 1 TB and SDD 512 gb

with these spces, what can i expect ? to find a ggod compromise ghraphics/performance, to fly on intermediate or high ? ultra ?
do i need extra settings on the rtx2060 ?

but my main question is…
i will want to keep that comp as clean as possible…all the extra files on a external hard drive…
so, the installation of the game should be on HDD or SDD
what about the community folfer hdd or sdd ?
all the addons, planes, aiprorts, global weather and textures (rex) on hdd or sdd ?

i m about to get the premium deluxe to get the 787, but for the 100+ bucks, should i wait and get the pmdg 737 ? as i fly mainly airliners…

sorry for all the questions, but once again, is about the disk location and the “extra” nvidia settings…
Many thanks in advance… Phil (Belgiumù)

FWIW I run the game fine with an i7 4770 @ 3.4GHz, a GTX1070 and 32 Gb, I get in average 25-35 fps in 1440p, everything in HIGH quality, scale 100, LOD 100.

It’s very playable, no complaints, and the Performance patch will really smooth things out, so you should be fine. For the memory, you are currently on the low side, but in a month the game will use a lot less memory and hopefully 16Gb will be enough if you don’t have too many programs in the background.

The game will be slow to launch, either on SSD or HDD. It may be 25% faster to launch on the SSD though.

As for the version to buy, I would recommend buying the base version and buy good third party planes instead. The Microsoft airliners are not worth the investment.

thnaks, btw, the updates in the future, addons, planes, etc?.. should be saved on the same disk locationas the core game either or can i put the core game on HDD and all the rest on SDD ?
if the difference between saving the game on hdd or sdd, is only the difference on launching time, so i guess i will for the hDD…i dont care much about that…

All the assets must be defined at installation time. AFAIK it’s not possible to change the directories later, unless you reinstall the entire game, which takes hours with a fast internet (fiber) and days otherwise. Right now, the game takes around 120 Gb on my hard disk. This includes all the world updates and a few mods.

thanks…allright…hours ??? even days ?? so i will let it install overnight then …and hoping to get a nice surprise when waking up…

Building a PC is like buying a brand New Car. The moment you take it out of the Shop it depreciates. I built my second after 10 or 12 years. Three months later I was kicking myself for not waiting till PCIe 4.0 Motherboards and 11th Gen CPU’s.

At some point you have to bite the bullet and take the plunge.

Again just try to stay within the current Manufacturing year, and buy to future proof if you can afford!
