The sim has finally grown so lazy that it won’t even Crash to Desktop anymore. It just stops. Halfway thru a 500 mile ILS trip, boom. No Simulator, just a frozen screen and no response. Find the closest airport, airstrip and start over. Task Manager, kill the process, redo the flight plan. Sheeesh… Not the worst thing that could happen, but still annoying.

When it “froze”, how long until you exited?
30 sec, 1 min, longer?
I ask because I have had a couple times where I was just about to bail when, off it went again. Uneventful flight from there.

I’ve had some pretty lengthy freezes too. I’d second the suggestion to hang on for a bit (if you didn’t already) and make sure it’s not coming back to life at all. Sounds a bit concerning otherwise.

Probably waited about two minutes at most. I’ll give it the 5 minute test next time, but I can get back in the air in 3 .5 minutes… LOL! As I said, not a show stopper, just annoying…
I have had mine just freeze a couple of times. Never thought of waiting it out. Will try that the next time it happens.

Same here. I’ve learned to simply wait for a bit… more often than not it sorts itself out and continues on just fine.
