New error message!

So there I was, flying along happily at treetop height along the Wye river having fun and thinking how I hadn’t seen any problems with this update, I’d just overflown Bristol at 3,000ft with everything turned up to max and it looked great and gave me a framerate well over whatever my mk1 eyeballs can see a difference between. While following the Wye north it suddenly started to get a little choppy, not terrible, not 1fps or anything, just a little choppy. A few minutes later I get a CTD and, for the first time ever with the sim, an error message:

That’s the Windows Error Reporting tool. Have Asobo finally added the ability to send crash reports?

Yeah it’s basically MSFS trying to use the win10 error reporting tool but sending it an improperly formatted message. And, since this is Microsoft, of course the error reporting tool will error when sent bad data, no-one thought to put error handling in the error reporting tool.

Windows Error Reporting Tool: Brought to you by the same team that made the former Internet Explorer. lol

There was an error in the reporting of an error to the error reporting causing an error. So it’s an error within an error within an error. Errorception.
