I highly recommend checking out BuildPicker on Youtube, look for his video from last summer about MSFS, he goes through CPU, GPU and RAM testing to show what resources are needed.
For anyone interested, both the new NVIDIA 4090 and AMD 7000 GPUs have had trouble. The NVIDIA 4090 comes with a terrible cable that had cheap solder joints inside leading to melting - luckily a simple fix is to use a better cable.
