It is not necessary to open that URL from the web browser. There are better tricks to open websites from All in One. The best thing is to configure the Kodi App and instead of directing the call to the Kodi website, we direct it to the desired website. You can change the URL in the Kodi App, the Android control or the LittleNavmap, for example.
Ok, thanks but can you confirm the page and calculation is working with this method?
It works ok.
I wrote the URL like it was the KODI App but without https://
It will be a new option for All in One in next release.
Regards.
Thank you so muchā¦ it was such an immersion killer to take of the goggles to do the performance calculation - so Iām going to buy the app. Thx!
edit: bought Thx Santos
Hum, if you add it to the next version can you include + and - for zoom?
Iāve heard there are some limitations in MSFS VR implementation. I can see the webpage with your method but in VR it is unusable at all. It is so tiny, I cant see anything. In 2D it is good - but in 2D I can use my webbrowser or another device. In the Browser I was not able to open any page unfortunately.
If you refer to the FLEX page that you told me about in previous posts, you can try to make the tablet bigger in VR. I assume that you are opening the page from the KODI App as I mentioned in the example.
Until I make that specifically FLEX app for All in One, I will not be able to add buttons, since now that page is hosted on a server that I cannot modify, obviously.
The web browser is for opening a sporadic page from the integrated Bing search engine but it has the limitations imposed by the simulator, any page that includes hardware-accelerated graphics techniques will not work or any non-standard library.
Yes, via KODI. If I make the tablet biggerā¦ the page remains tiny unfortunately.
I just fired this up after a long while.
- Is there a virtual keyboard for the web browser?
- Can we customize the apps shown on the tablet?
- Can we bring our phone into VR? Would eliminate need for the browser.
I can answer the second point!
Yes you can hide and rearrange the icons shown (by editing a text file). Follow the guide here. Click the HIDE UNUSED ICONS link:

For point 1 I was told the Bing browser is set as default because it has a virtual keyboard but Iāve never found a way to make it appear so itās rather useless.
I doubt there is a way to bring phone in and make it interactive but I donāt have an Android phone so maybe the Android āappā can do that?
I run many apps (including regular browser) on separate PC (old notebook) and a bring the desktop of that PC to VR via the VNC function of the tablet. I can control the other PC using mouse of the main PC in the VR session. I can type on the other PC.
This way I run (on the other PC):
- vPilot (VATSIM)
- SkyDemon
- regular Chrome browser (with SimAware - VATSIM map).
Is there an updated discord link - the one above comes back as invalid.
Thanks.
Thanks and regards!
Thanks for this information! Ist the vnc function integrated in all in one tablet?
Affirmative
Did you ever get the virtual keyboard to work? Can you stream videos like Prime or Netflix through the browser while in VR? Thanks!
No I never did. Stopped using it a while back as it was affecting performance too much on the whole. Shame coz the idea is really neat.
For the browser I think you could stream them (at low refresh rate and limited colour pallet) but there is no audio support so probably not that useful for movies!
I am getting a nasty stutter problem in 2020 as soon as I open the tablet. Even just āhidingā it with a keybind doesnāt get rid of the issue. I need to fully close it from the tool bar for the issue to stop. The stuttering immediately stops once itās closed, and immediately starts once I reopen it. This is using version 3.1, in VR.
This is not a Support Forum. Check your other mods because v3 is fully tested and It has not any known issue about stutters. You could have any conflict with other plugin.
