The lightning sound offered in the 1.9 patch is a little exaggerated. Its sounds like an episode of Star Trek Voyager where the cast was stranded on a planet with a dangerous lighting storm that killed everything above ground. I could swear it’s the same sound effect used in that episode. A better sound is needed and the illumination of lighting at night is a bit over done.
Sounds fine to me and the illumination seems ok too.
After a few more flights I agree it sounds fine. There’s bigger fish to fry and this is fine the way it is.
I’m ok with the lightning & thunder as it is, my main issue with it is that I haven’t been on a single flight since the Japan patch that hasn’t had thunder and lightning regardless of the actual cloud situation.
Indeed. There was 1 tiny puffy while cloud in the sky over an airport I took off from and otherwise blue skies. That one cloud was generating lightning like I was in the middle of a hurricane.
