So this just happened.
Early this morning (see above) that anon. review at msfsaddons posted this when the dev made 1.3 available. The original post showed v1.3
I called him out for having a review of 1.3 when 1.3 was just made available
Post then got edited to this (shows 1.2) I took a screenshot
Since then the dev has pulled back 1.2 and seems to be releasing it later today or soon.
Funny enough, the review got edited to reflect that version change back to v1.1

His friend also makes the standard appearance (cirrus) as if he just happened to come along and see the review and have the same experience.
And then here is the dev confirming parts of my review while pretending to play devilās advocate.
My only regret is hesitating and feeling bad the night of for maybe making a mistake posting it. I didnāt make a mistake, and itās only getting more humorous IMO.
Heās clearly setting the thread up for a v1.2 with āfixedā upside down switches.

Please take this as a positive idea and not a criticism. With all the correspondence going on between you and the developer, perhaps you could offer to be a beta tester on his next project. With his actual ability and your critical eye, maybe you can together come up with something that benefits the entire community.
I know a lot has been said about this developer, and much of it is not nice in nature. But please let us understand that he is one of only very very few people to so far even offer us additional aircraft for this platform. This is something we should encourage, even if some feel the need to give a message that there has been dissatisfaction with past endeavours.
It would be nice to turn this entire situation from a potential lemon experience into actual lemonade.
I do not disagree. I realize that there is a lot of pre-thread to read through, and I donāt expect you to do all that, but the offer has been made above, and I tried consistently to try and meet him halfway or offer positives when they applied.
What I got from that was dismissed as a customer and deceit and dishonesty and slander and accusations.
Kind of blown away at this point, but all my prior comments still stand. Iām not unreasonable and have no problem helping, but every time Iāve attempted to reach across the isle Iāve been bit.
For some additional context, Iām a developer by trade and ex-pilot. Not an authority, just a decent combo of both to have in your corner. Iāve also contributed to dozens of open source projects and love to help.
Pre-review I contacted the developer to ask if there was anything in particular they were proud of or that they thought I should mention or review. I also delayed the review on his request to wait for v1.1 update which I did in kind to be as fair as possible.
I feel Iāve gone well beyond in effort compared to how a company (large or small) has in return treated their customer.
This little plane is a hoot to fly and honestly, itās hard for me to understand the chorus of criticism it has received. It is categorically not even close to perfect, but were Asoboās planes initially? (A320N, DBM 930, Cessna Citation anyone?) This has become my go-to aircraft because it is simply so much fun to fly. I am no BBS fanboy. But I will say this: alot of people are missing on alot of flying enjoyment because they seem determined to allow the stated experiences of others to take the place of trying it out themselves. If they did, there would be alot fewer complaints about this aircraft.I realize that everyone is entitled to an opinion, but I wanted share mine as based on actual purchase and use, and not things that I have heard from some others. This is going to sound harsh. Meant as constructive criticism. No way to sugar coat it. After looking at one screenshot of the virtual cockpit (where I spend all of my time simming), it was clear this model is maybe, maybe, FSX default quality. That low-poly mesh. Those textures. 128x128?. When I see that, I assume the rest of the plane is of a similar quality. Please note that Iām not saying the visual quality is bad. Iām saying it would have been standard 15 years ago. Literally.
I donāt think Iād pay $10 for this, or even download it as freeware.
