same here, no noticeable difference, stuttering still there especially when approaching to land. Windows optional update made no difference either. Lets see what happens the day after tomorrow…
i7 9700f, rtx 2060, 32 Ram, mostly high settings.
This new Game Ready Driver provides support for the launch of Days Gone on PC with increased levels of detail, higher foliage draw distances, native 4K rendering, a configurable field of view, ultra-wide monitor support, unlocked frame rates, and more. Additionally, this release also provides optimal support for Knockout City.
That’s all the driver really does, it is not breaking FS2020, there is something else wrong with your system if it won’t start. People expect a little too much from new drivers I think.
Yes I thought 466.47 would solve the black screens I was getting with motion reprojection. It was then I realised the room temperature was approaching Death Valley with my i9 3090 house heating system. High power with balanced thermal was the indadvertant setting. Balanced power and High thermal fixed it.
Just like the previous versions, i tried this new version and returned immediately to the 457.30 (big stutter with exactly the same conditions and settings)
i9 10900KF, 2080 Ti, 64 Go, SSD
I’ve also been trying HAGS with this driver, here are my observations:
For me I9 10900KF 3090 64gb with sim on Steam ; HAGS on : No stutter on flight but a lot on the ground HAGS OFF: Few stutters on flight, few stutters on the ground. Pick your poison
After testing 466.47 for a couple days, I went back to 466.27 as I noticed a bit of regression in performance while turning the aircraft. It’s slight but noticeable. I have less stutter with 466.27 and overall the experience feels better.
you all are testing with propeller aircraft? I have no issues with all small aircraft and crj, but with FBW and all airliners there are massive stutters on ground…
I have found something interesting with this driver but I must confess that I haven’t thoroughly tested it out. I have been following 'Pie in the Sky" on YouTube. I have a similar system so I altered the Nvidia Virtually reality pre rendered frames setting to 2 as he recommended. It worked OK with the 339 jet but when I tried the Dreamliner it was not as good so I changed the setting to 1 but it just looked hopeless - totally blurred etc - not an effect I expected. So I went back to 2 and it was OK but I then tried 3 and I thought it was slightly better. I’m no expert but it seems that the new driver is certainly having an impact on 3000 series drivers. More testing is needed to find the optimum settings.
