I haven’t changed any setting for a while though. I mostly followed the super thread from CptLucky8 for the Reverb G2 and keep it there for quite a while. My OpenXR render scale is at 70%, and in-sim is at 60% (wanted to set lower render scale in OpenXR for higher sim resolution but couldn’t because of the previous warping bugs). Most of my sim settings is at medium/low (on RTX 2070 Super) as I tried to get to stable 30FPS for reprojection (Automatic).
For the Windows setting, I leave it mostly at “Let Windows decide,” although I pause the Mixed Reality Portal to gain some performance.
I did tried opening the Start Menu several times before the OpenXR update and always get the crash. After the OpenXR update I’ve got no VR crash so far, so I changed custom render scale down to 50% and increase sim resolution to 80%. No crash and no more warping bug either. Reprojection still create artifacts on the prop though, but I guess I can’t avoid artifacts until I can get better card to turn off the feature.
