New PC - Sim Runs Excellent

All - Asobo/MS - Got New PC, Intel I-9-13900 & Nvidia 4090. Sim works great for me. According to MSI Center CPU at 55C in game. I think I need CUP & GPU Z to really see but waiting some info from builder first.
Most of all settings at Ultra, my flight controls were all ready to go, a few tweaks but settings stayed set.
I tried the F-14 and the PMDG 737-700 - No Flight Plan, just sat at end of RW made sure things were good to go and flew around, missed landing (737) had to go around, second time was good. F-14 it always great.
So, no stutters, no anything. Samsung Neo G9 @ 5120x1440 and 240Hz and it was great too. I now need to get all the Content Manager stuff the download did not get. That is if I want it. Test is, next SW update to see how things go.

Nvidia 4090 w/24GB VRam aboard.

What 4090 are you using? How many vram?

Would be great to see how you get on with it. I’m on the 13900ks but running a 3080TI

A 4090 always has 24GB of vram.

I was completely unaware of that :grimacing:

Nicely done, OP. My computer is decent enough (5800X3D, 3090 Ti (24GB VRAM,) DDR4-3600/CAS 14.)

It’s such a joy being able to fly without experiencing the poor performance some people complain about. This sim really is a glutton, and you have to be willing to spend money on a computer that can run it well.

That, or accept that it won’t be awesome.

Yes, to all, my ASUS Laptop (bought in 2020 for this game) was getting long in the tooth. I can highly recommend the vendor “Computer Upgrade King” (CUKUSA.com(https://www.cukusa.com/) because they are ASUS reseller dealer and modified my laptop for my specs. The second HDD on Laptop went out after warranty, but they sent me a new one as customer appreciation item free. I had to replace the fans at mid point because they were wobbling. IMHO-ASUS is suffering from quality issues, check out anything you are going to buy they make. Donated my Claymore II because keys failed at 18 months. But my Laptop in 2020 was/is rock solid.

This desktop is absolutely excellent. It’s the Sentinel version tricked out to top of line. Because it’s under and side of desk having a bunch of LED stuff was going to be worthless, few lights inside, but nothing much. There are other options if lights are important.

I built a PC the same as the Op, initially I used the 1080 GPU until I could get back to the PC Store.

Added a 4090 and OMG what a difference, smooth no stutters, great scenery right out of the box without making and adjustments to the settings.
